Love/Hate star misses season premiere for Sheeran gig

While most of the country were glued to their screens last night to watch the unfolding of the season premiere of Love/Hate, one of the stars of the show had something else in penciled in his diary.
Laurence Kinlan – who plays Elmo in the hit series – missed out on the series-five opener as he was too busy rubbing shoulders with Ed Sheeran at the 3Arena.
We recently learned that the Thinking Out Loud singer was a big fan of the show and to his delighted received a signed box-set from Ryan Tubridy on Friday night’s Late Late Show.To thank the cast he then casually invited them to one of his sold out gigs in Dublin over the weekend.
