Nicole Scherzinger cried when she met Whitney Houston – but her idol didn’t even look at her.
The ‘Poison’ hitmaker was a huge fan of the ‘I Will Always Love You’ singer – who died in February 2012 – and despite a fairly disappointing meeting with the late star, Nicole insists it was still a ”beautiful moment”.
She said: ”I met Whitney, briefly, the story’s not that great. The Pussycat Dolls were singing for a Christian Dior show and Bobby [Brown] was like ‘We gotta do something together’. Whitney was in the background going, ‘Come on Bobby, we gotta go’.
”I was like, ‘But I love you Whitney’, and then I cried and she was gone. It was beautiful at that moment for me, I made it what it needed to be but I don’t think she even looked at me.
”But then I love her, she’s the reason why I sing.”
The 36-year-old beauty also revealed her one big ”regret” in life was turning down the chance to meet Michael Jackson because she was on vocal rest ahead of a big performance.
