There has been a substantial increase in the trading of illegal tobacco in Co. Donegal.
An investigation found that ‘illegal whites’ which are made entirely for the black market are widely available in towns across Donegal such as Letterkenny, the Twin Towns, Milford and Donegal Town.
The investigation was commissioned by cigarette company, Philip Morris and was conducted by former Detective Superintendent Kevin Donahoe and associates in London.
