Highland Radio General Competition Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all competitions run by Highland Radio unless otherwise stated.
In order to enter any competition, customers must correctly undertake the task set or answer the question correctly as the case may be. Competitions are only open to those people identified as being permitted to enter or requested to enter as the case may be. Competitions are not open to Highland Radio employees, agents, contractors or sub-contractors – or their families.
Customers entering any competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
Highland Radio accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost.
Any prize is as stated in any messaging or promotions advertising such competition. No cash or other alternative will be offered and prizes are non-transferable.
Highland Radio reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter any prize or substitute the prize with cash to the same value for any reason and without notification. In the event that the winner declines the prize awarded to him/her or Highland Radio is unable to contact the winner after reasonable efforts have been made, Highland Radio may award the prize to another entrant, selected at random.
By accepting the prize, the winner grants Highland Radio the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as Highland Radio may choose (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.
Highland Radio is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winner or any other person with whom the winner shares or gives the prize.
Highland Radio reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid, technical or commercial reason.
An Post Money October One4All Giftcard Promotion
By participating in this Promotion, you agree to the terms and conditions below.
In these terms and conditions:
“An Post” means a registered company in Ireland under number 98788 with a registered address at the General Post Office, O’Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1.
“Comment” means the answer Eligible Entrants provide under the Promotion Post in answer to the question above.
“Eligible Entrant” means a person/user who answers the question by commenting under the Promotion Post hosted on an IRS Facebook/Instagram during the promotion period.
‘IRS’ means Independent Radio Sales, the participating radio stations are: Midwest Radio, Highland Radio, East Coast FM, Clare FM, Tipp FM, KCLR, KFM, Midlands 103, Northern Sound, Ocean FM, Radio Kerry, South East Radio, Shannonside
“Promotion” means the An Post Money October One4All Giftcard promotion.
“Promoter” means An Post
“Promotion Period” means 12th of October to 14th October 2026
“Prize” means a €150 One4all Gift Card. Each Prize awarded to one Eligible Entrant winner from each participating IRS radio station. There are 13 participating radio stations in total, resulting in 13 Eligible Entrant winners each receiving a €150 One4all Gift Card.
“Promotion Post” means the promotion post published by each participating radio station on its respective Facebook and Instagram pages. The Promotion Post will include details of the prize and instructions on how to enter. Entry to the Promotion is automatic when participant answers the following question: “Tell us your dream holiday”, in the comments section of the Promotion Post.
This Promotion consists of the Promoter giving away a Prize to each winning Eligible Entrant.
Entrants must be over 18 years old on the date of entry to this Promotion.
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the administration of the Promotion, shall not be Eligible Entrants.
Eligible Entrants may submit only one Entry. Only the first valid Entry received from each telephone number will be included. All subsequent Entries from that number will be disregarded.
This Promotion will run 12 October 2026 to 14 October 2026. The closing time date for Entries for each participating radio station is the end of the relevant live show specified in the Schedule for that station. Entries received after that time will not be accepted.
Calls or SMS text from mobile phones may be charged at your network provider’s standard rates
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion with valid
reason.
There will be no cash alternative for the Prize.
By entering the Promotion, entrants acknowledge that the name of the winners may be announced on the relevant radio station or on its social pages following the conclusion of the Promotion.
The Promotion winner may be invited to take part in Promotion activities. Any such participation will be optional.
The winner of this Promotion will be selected at random by the radio DJ.
The winners of the Prize will be notified by phone. Each radio station will contact the winner directly.
If any Prize winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and select an alternative winner.
The decision in relation to the random selection of the Promotion winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding this selection.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant with valid reason.
In the event of circumstances beyond its control the Promoter may cancel the Promotion.
The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the Promotion or the awarding of the Prize to the Promotion winner unless such loss or damage was caused by the Promoter and which is a foreseeable result of the Promoter’s breach of these terms and conditions or their negligence. Evidence of loss or damage will be required. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have as a consumer under Irish law.
By entering the Promotion Eligible Entrants are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions of the Promotion. Any breach of these terms and conditions will result in disqualification.
The winner may not offer for sale or exchange the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Prize and Promotion if this term is not complied with.
All information provided is correct at the time of going live but may be subject to change by the Promoter if necessary for the purposes of administering the Promotion.
An Post is careful to treat the privacy of its customers with care and due regard to the laws of Ireland. The information, including personal data, which you submit to enter the Promotion, will be used by An Post and the relevant participating radio station for the purposes of administering the Promotion and awarding the Prize. It will not be used for any other purpose unless otherwise requested by you. Calls may be recorded for verification and training purposes. Governing Law – These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. These terms and conditions do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
