Donegal based sales website extends into Derry

Two Letterkenny men have expanded their business into Northern Ireland, with the launch of self retail website flogitni.com in Derry.
Paddy Farren and John Mc Namara say the flogitdonegal.com website has been a huge success since it was launched just uinder ten months ago.
Since it opened in March, the Donegal website has had 1 million hits per month and 15,000 visitors per month, resulting in the sale of more than 3,000 items.
The founders say having already built up a customer base in Northern Ireland, it seemed logical for Flog It Donegal to create a presence there. Joint owner Paddy Farren says there are more broadband users north of the border, and without a local online sales services within Northern Ireland, there is a gap to be filled.
