Three people have died on the county’s roads.
A man in his 60’s died when he was struck by a car in Carrigart shortly after 8’clock last (Friday) night.
Gardai in Milford are appealing for witnesses.
Meanwhile shortly before 10 o’clock this (Saturday) morning two vehicles collided at the Slab Road junction at Burt.
Gardai have confirmed that two men, one in his 50’s and the second in his 20’s, were killed.
The road close to the area of Burt Chapel is expected to be closed for most of Saturday, local diversions are in place.
Gardai says roads across the county are in a dangerous condition following overnight falls of snow and freezing conditions.
Motorists are being asked to exercise extreme caution.
