Soccer – Management Insist Given Will Be Fine For Ireland’s Opener

With just three days to go before Ireland’s opening game of Euro 2012, Shay Given has been training on his own today at the Ireland camp.
Given remains a concern for the Irish management after he spent this morning’s training session working with goalkeeping coach Alan Kelly.
Assistant manager Marco Tardelli has insisted that the 36-year-old will be fine for Sunday – adding that they’re just resting him due to his knee and calf injuries.
