The funeral of East Derry MLA David McClarty takes place today.
Mr Mc Clarty, who was 63 and from Coleraine died on Friday after suffering from cancer for some time.
His funeral service will be held at Killowen, followed by burial in Portstewart.
The Independent Unionist MLA left the Ulster Unionist Party in 2011 after being deselected as a candidate for that year’s assembly election.
