‘Who won the match?’ asks McCloy

Former Derry captain, Kevin McCloy is showing signs of improvement after his collapse during a club game on Wednesday evening.
According to Jarlath Burns, the Lavey man’s first question after waking up was “Who won the match?”.
The Senior Championship match in Owenbeg between McCloy’s Lavey and Magherafelt was abandoned after he was treated by paramedics. McCloy is being treated in Altnagelvin Hospital since the incident and the family has thanked those who have sent prayers and good wishes. The family also request that their privacy is respected at this time.
