Property tax deadline extended until Friday

The payment deadline for this year’s Local Property Tax has been extended from tonight until 4pm on Friday.
Revenue announced the decision earlier today following a ‘very large’ volume of calls to a dedicated helpline, and a filing rate of nearly 8 thousand payment notifications an hour at times over the past two days.
Members of the public can contact the helpline from 8 to 8 today and tomorrow, and from 8 to 4 on Friday.
