James Corden thinks moving to America is the “right thing” for his family.
The 36-year-old comic is relocating to Los Angeles to present ‘The Late, Late Show’ and says making the change now while his kids Max, four, and Carey, three months, are still young is the right time to do it as he and wife Julia may be more restricted in the future.
He said: “I thought it would be fun and it’s the right thing for my family. That’s what dominates your thoughts when you have two children and a wife – you think, this isn’t something we’d be able to do if it came along in five years and actually now this is a great thing for us to go and have an adventure and live somewhere else for a bit.
“No one ever sits on their deathbed thinking, ‘I wish we hadn’t lived in that other country for a while,’ so I’m very much looking forward to it.”
While he is excited about his big move, the ‘Into the Woods’ actor is “terrified” the show will turn out to be a “disaster”.
