There are almost 500 homes and businesses still without electricity in Donegal this morning according to ESB Networks, some of which have been powerless since yesterday afternoon.
Most of the problems are centred in West Donegal, where a major 38kv system fault developed yesterday.
Just over 175 of them are in Dubgloe, 160 in Derrybeg and 139 in North Inishowen.
At the height of Storm Rachel yesterday, there were over 12,000 homes affected across the county.
Meanwhile, Eircom crews are also working to restore service to its customers after around 10-thousand were without service yesterday.
As darkness fell last night, there were almost 600 homes without phone and or broadband services in Donegal, mainly around Arranmore, Bunbeg, Falcarragh, Kilmacrennan, Letterkenny, Tamney, and Killybegs
