Philip Deignan in Arabia for Tour of Oman

Philip Deignan is back in competitive action with Team Sky this week.
The Letterkenny man will tackle The Tour of Oman which started today (tue) and finishes on Sunday.
The riders will face six stages in the coming days with Philip expected to help new team mates Leopold Konig and Wout Poels in the hillier stages as they look to impress on general classification.
Team Sky Tour of Oman Line Up: Philip Deignan, Nathan Earle, Christian Knees, Leopold König, David Lopez, Danny Pate, Wout Poels and Chris Sutton.
Todays 1st was won in a sprint finish by Italian Andrea Guardini of the astana pro – team , 2nd was Tom Boonen of the etixx quick step. Team sky rider Deigan finished 41st today in the lead group finishing with the same time as the winner.
