Four fire crews and locals tackling a substantial gorse fire at ‘the glen’ in Kincasslagh.The fire is burning rapidly in a dense area of overgrowth not far from the Viking House Hotel.
There are a number of houses within yards of the fire and a small garage in the vicinity but it is understood none are in immediate danger.
Dozens of locals are assisting up to thirty fire personnel in a bid to contain the blaze.
