Fourth place finish for Sarah Collins’ team

Sarah Collins, Finn Valley, a student at Providence College ,Rhode Island  led her team in NCAA X Country Finals at Louisville, Kentucky.
She was out front pushing and leading the front group at 2k,  eventually hanging on for 20th of 282 starters of the very best from numerous regional qualifiers throughout the U S.
Her team finished 4th, a satisfactory return based on their pre-race ranking as New Mexico dominated. Thus she once again gains All American status, an honour bestowed on the top 40 athletes in U S College / University system- a coveted award .
She has made real progress in each of her races in the months as she prepared for the big one  today considering that injury knocked her out after a top 12 run in this event last year which saw her only return to competition in the Fall in the U S .
Now injury-free, continued progress awaits with exciting times ahead as she approaches 2016 .
