Inishowen top Oscar Traynor Group despite draw

The Inishowen League has topped the North West Group in the Oscar Traynor Cup.
But it was perhaps somewhat surprising that they were held to a 1-1 draw by the Cavan Monaghan League in their final group game, which was played in Cootehill.
Cavan/Monaghan took the lead but Inishowen drew level before halftime when Greencastle’s Matty Henry scored from close range after good play from Gavin Doherty and Michael Devlin.
Terence Doherty was sent off for two yellow cards.
