Serious concern has been raised following the revelation that over 42% of Urology patients at Letterkenny University Hospital are waiting a year or more for a Day Surgery appointment.
The figures, which have been provided by the National Treatment Purchase Fund, show that there are fifty people waiting twelve months or more.
Earlier this month, the HSE revealed 328 patients have been waiting over a year for outpatient appointments.
