The average price of farmland decreased last year.
A report on the cost of agricultural land shows that nationally, the average price per acre fell to 10 thousand 336 euro in 2015.
That’s a drop of almost 2 percent when compared with the previous year.The drop in price in the West and North West was steeper, with average falls of 10% (see infographic below).
In the three Ulster counties of Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan, prices averaged 5,668 euro per acre.
