A Derry councillor is urging people in the Rossville district to engage in the debate about the proposed transfer of housing stock from the Housing Executive to housing associations in the area.
Sinn Fein and a number of residents’ groups fear the proposals to transfer hundreds of homes in the council area to Housing Associations will have an impact on tenancy agreements, rents and repairs.
They also fear it would compromise the future of the Housing Exucutive.
