Met Eireann has issued a snow-ice warning for Donegal.
The forecaster says there will be sleet and snow showers ranging between 1 and 3 centimetres – especially on high ground.
The weather alert is in place until 10am.

She says the rain will clear later this morning but it will remain cold throughout the weekend.
