Road re-opens following early morning crash

 
 
The N13 Letterkenny to Derry Road has now re-opened following a two car collision near Newtowncunningham shortly after 8.30 this morning.
The road was closed for most of today to facilitate a technical examination which concluded a short time ago.
A woman remains in a serious condition in Letterkenny University Hospital this evening following the crash while a man in his late 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment on minor injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses, anyone with information is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100.
