Donegal’s hurlers did not manage to secure their Division 2B status today but manager Ardal McDermott believes they will do it next week.
Ardal’s players lost 1-09 to 2-19 against Wicklow on Saturday afternoon and must now face Roscommon of Division 3A.
The crunch National Hurling League clash will decide if Donegal stay in Division 2B.
Ardal said on Saturday Sport that Wicklow were too strong on the day for Donegal’s players and tired in the second half after an excellent first period.
