Monaghan won the Ulster title for just the third time beating Tyrone 13 points to 11 in Wednesday’s final.
Football has been flourishing in the county in recent years, with the Farney men winning an Ulster minor, two provincial seniors and now an u21 since the summer of 2013.
It’s a first Ulster U21 crown since 1999.
