The Chairman of Connemara Mining says there’s a long road ahead as a gold prospecting project in Donegal progresses.
The company has announced that initial test drill results confirm the presence of significant grades of gold at the site on Inishowen, but Connemara Mining Chairman John Teeling says it’ll be some time before a decision can be made on whether there are commercially viable deposits there.
Mr Teeling says the results suggest the site is similar to a prospect at Curraghinalt, Co Tyrone, where a multi-million ounce gold deposit has been reported, but a lot more exploratory drilling is required……..
