Donegal’s boxers had a triumphant evening at the National Youth Championships over the weekend.
Some 10 fighters were in action at the National Stadium in Dublin over Friday and Saturday.
Donegal Boxing Board president Peter O’Donnell praised their performances on Sunday Sport.
He also spoke of the select group of boxers who will represent Donegal in a gala fight night against opponents from Boston in Letterkenny on April 21.
The Raphoe ABC man said the Americans are bringing nine men and two women boxers for the night at the Clanree Hotel this coming Thursday.
