There are calls for action to be taken to address sewage fumes in Kilmacrennan which have been described by one local Councillor as ‘vile’
The fumes are concentrated near the Post Office in the vicinity of the upper part of the town with Donegal County Council trying to identified the cause of the problem
Councillor Michael McBride raised the issue at a meeting recently. He says the smell is unbearable and something needs to be done to fix the problem long term:
