Irish Water has confirmed that work has begun on the €18.4 million Donegal Group B project.
The work includes the development of new sewerage schemes in Killybegs, Bundoran, Gleanncholmcille and Convoy.
However Councillor Patrick McGowan says a question mark still remains as to when the Greenfields and Flaxfields estates in Convoy will be connected to the system.
He says while he welcomes the upgraded work getting underway it is concerning the two estates are not included:
