Carl McHugh moves north to Motherwell

Scottish Premiership side Motherwell have announced the signing of Donegal midfielder Carl McHugh from Plymouth Argyle.
The 23-year old Leitirmacaward man played a pivotal role in getting Plymouth to the Play-off Final at Wembley last season.
Carl has opted to make the switch north of the border after his contract expired recently.
Motherwell is McHugh’s fourth cross channel club after previous spells at Reading and Bradford and he becomes Motherwell’s fifth signing ahead of the new season.
Speaking to the club’s official You Tube channel, McHugh said: “I think it’s a brilliant opportunity for me and my career and it was something I couldn’t turn down for me and my family.”
