Update: Two year old critical following afternoon crash in Derry

 

A two-year-old child is in a critical condition in hospital following a collision in Derry this afternoon.

It’s understood the toddler was knocked down on the Lone Moor road earlier.
As a result, police have closed the Lone Moor Road in both directions at its junctions with Brandywell Road and Southway.
Diversions are in place.
