Following confirmation last week that the North West has the highest level of vacant commercial units in the country, the government is being urged to prioritise Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim.
The Geo Directory report revealed that Donegal was higher than the national average with just over 15% of commercial properties vacant. Sligo has the highest in proportion in the country at almost 18%, while just over 16% of properties in Leitrim were lying empty.
