A Donegal County Councillor has claimed that recycling banks around Donegal are not being properly maintained.
Issues include that the banks are not being emptied regularly leading to them overflowing and creating an eyesore in various communities across the county.
In some areas it has been claimed the problem is so bad the overflow of litter is attracting vermin.
Councillor Michael Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig believes this is down to the work being carried out by an outside contractor and not by the council:
