Ireland battled their way to a scrappy 1-0 win over Georgia in their World Cup qualifier on Thursday night thanks to Seamus Coleman’s second half goal.
On his 40th international appearance, it was a first ever goal in the Irish jersey for the Killybegs man who also captained his country for the first time in a competitvie game at the Aviva Stadium.
