A Donegal Deputy is urging the Government to speed up the delivery of high speed broadband as a matter of urgency.
A total of €15 million has been earmarked to provide the service to rural areas as part of Budget 2017 with the latest pledge by Government to have it provided to all rural households by 2022.
However, Donegal Deputy Charlie McConalogue says that’s not quick enough.
He says many homes and businesses in the county are already severely affected due to the delays in the rollout:
