Buncrana library has been named as one of twenty three branches across the country that will be offering the new Open Library service from next year.
It means that the library will stay open and operate without staff during the evenings and weekends.
Some librarians aren’t happy arguing that the move is the beginning of the end for our Public Library Service.
However Local Councillor Rena Donaghey believes it will provide a more flexible service…….
