Brett McGinty seeks out first win at World Youths

St. Johnston’s Brett McGinty goes into action today at the World Youth Boxing Championships in St. Petersburg in Russia this afternoon.
Brett, who boxes with Oak Leaf Boxing Club, is captain of the Irish team at these championships and will take to the ring after 12noon Irish time.
He has a preliminary round bout today against an opponent from Thailand – with the winner though to the last 32.
He’s one of three Irish boxers in action today along with Paddy Donovan and Christopher O’Reilly.
