TKO victory sends Brett McGinty into World Youth’s last 32

Brett McGinty has won his opening fight at the World Youth Championships in St Petersburg, Russia.
The St Johnston welterweight defeated Thailand’s, Kuattisak Promchuay, with a tko in the third round.
The win sends McGinty into the last 32 of the 69kg division where he’ll meet Slovakian Andrej Csemez, a European bronze medalist this year.
That fight will take place on Sunday.
