Man dies after coming off motorcycle near Cranford

Gardai are investigating the death of a man in his 50s from Northern Ireland who apparently came off his motorcycle during an off road event near Cranford at the weekend.
The man, who was part of a group of five, was found unconscious by colleagues at around 1.45pm on Saturday. He was lying beside his motorcycle on a mountainside dirt track.
He was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital by helicopter, but was pronounced dead.
A garda spokesperson has told the Donegal News that a post morten examination will determine the direction of the investigation.
