Mageean qualifies for World Championships

 

Ciara Mageean put in a strong showing at tonight’s Diamond League meeting in Rome.
She came tenth in a competitive 15-hundred metres in a time of 4-minutes 4-point-4-9 seconds.
Her time has qualified her for the World Championships in London in August and it was also the second fastest time of her career
That race was won by the Ethiopian-born, Alberto Salazar-trained Siffan Hassan of Holland.
