Donegal County Council is being urged to elect a member of the Islands Committee on to the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions with a view of giving the Donegal Islands a stronger voice.
While open to the idea, the local authority says a number of factors need to be considered and it’s to seek clarity from the CPMR in relation to the nomination process.
