Questions asked surrounding criteria for Local Improvement Scheme


Questions are being asked surrounding criteria for the Local Improvement scheme.
Figures show that the highest allocation to a single LIS last year was 58,700 in the Stranorlar district while the lowest was 3,080 in the Glenties area.
However Cllr. Adrian Glackin is claiming that there some residents in Glenswilly were turned down for the scheme because their funding request was between 30- and 40 thousand.
He’s calling on the local authority to further clarify what is needed to qualify before the next round of funding is released:
