Sharp fall in number of people awaiting admission at LUH

There’s been a drop in the number of people awaiting admission at Letterkenny University Hospital, with five there this morning, three of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
That’s down from 15 yesterday.
Nationally, the INMO says there were 310 people awaiting in-patient beds, the largest number, 50, at University Hospital Limerick.
