Nakita Burke of Letterkenny AC had a big win in the Seeley Cup in Belfast on Saturday as she set a PB while winning the Women’s category of the 10k road race. Caitriona Jennings, also of Letterkenny AC, was third in that category and the Letterkenny club finished third overall in the women’s teams.
At the Jingle Bells 5k in Dublin, Teresa Doherty of Finn Valley AC was the winner of the women’s category. Around 1,500 runners took part in that race in the Phoenix Park.
The Letterkenny AC & WeCare LK Food Bank Turkey Trot took place on Sunday morning and Jimmy McBride was the top finisher there as he predicted his 5km exactly, finishing in 24.09.
