Treasa Doherty picked up her first TG4 Ladies Football All-Star Award on Saturday night at the CityWest Hotel.
The Carndonagh woman was one of eight nominees for Donegal on the night, with Nicole McLaughlin, Ciara Hegarty, Deirdre Foley, Katy Herron, Karen Guthrie, Geraldine McLaughlin and Yvonne Bonner also shortlisted for awards.
Doherty played a big role as Donegal were able to retain their Ulster title and make it as far as the All-Ireland semi-finals.

Neamh Woods of Tyrone was was named the Intermediate Players’ Player of the Year and also received an All-Star at midfield for her role in captaining Tyrone to Ulster and All-Ireland Intermediate titles.

Milford’s Megan Ryan was named the Ulster Ladies Young Player of the Year. Ryan played a huge part for the Donegal U16s on their way to lifting the Ulster A title.
