IFA urge consumers to support farmers this Christmas


The IFA says consumers and retailers need to support farmers and buy Irish this Christmas.
They’re appealing to shoppers to realise the impact cheap vegetables have on Irish farmers – and have lashed out at unsustainable discounting in the market.
IFA President, Joe Healy, says Irish consumers know the value of Irish vegetables – and growers will be forced out of business if they can’t get a realistic price.
