Tourist rescued off Sliabh Liag

A tourist has been rescued after getting into difficulty off Sliabh Liag yesterday afternoon.
The alarm was first raised by the walker, who contacted the emergency services.
Gardai then requested Donegal Mountain Rescue be deployed to the scene and the person was quickly located and assisted off the mountain.
The team was stood down at approximately 16.40 yesterday.
