Suspected firearm recovered in follow up searches after Derry bomb

A suspected firearm has been located in Derry this evening, during follow up searches in connection to the bomb attack outside Bishop Street Courthouse on Saturday.
The item has been discovered in the Brandywell area of the city.
Police say the recovery of the object will require a public safety operation however they say they will endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum.
