Institute Manager Paddy McLaughlin is being head hunted by Premiership rivals Cliftonville.
It’s reported by the Derry Journal that Cliftonville have made a formal approach for the Stute manager and want to enter into discussions with McLaughlin in the coming days.
Cliftonville are keen to have the managerial vacancy filled by Saturday Week, their next league game against Newry City.
Former Derry City Manager Kenny Shiels is also believed to be one of the candidates.
Having lead Institute to Championship success last season, McLaughlin has guided his side to 7th in the Premiership and 13 points above the relegation places.
