Council orders demolition of “illegal” Lifford filling station

It’s reported that the owners of a filling station close to the Lifford Strabane border have been order to demolish it because it was allegedly built without planning permission, and is therefore illegal.
The Donegal News reports this morning that the order was served in October on Daly Brothers (Lifford) Ltd., Daly Brothers (Retail) Ltd., and Austin Daly.
Daly Brothers have not issued a statement, but we understand they are working with Donegal County Council to resolve what have been described as ‘minor issues’
