The biggest engineering and tech Expo in the northwest takes place in IT Sligo today as the industry continues efforts to attract more women to the sector.
Today’s event will include over 40 industry representatives.
Head of the Engineering and Design Faculty at IT Sligo, Una Parsons, says it’s also necessary to promote interest in engineering in primary schools.
