A fisherman is currently being transferred by the Arranmore RNLI to the mainland after suffering an injury on board a vessel earlier this morning.
The alarm was raised at around 10.30am to assist the fishermen who was located approximately 40 miles off Arranmore Island.
The rescue operation is currently on route to Burtonport where the man will be then transferred to Letterkenny University Hospital for further treatment.
